The author of Elephants Before Unicorns: Emotionally Intelligent HR Strategies To Save Your Company (Entrepreneur Press, 2019), podcast host of “The New Business Playbook by 2030” and creator of the ground-breaking Workplace EQ Diagnostic, Caroline regularly engages with leaders at the forefront of technological, economic and societal change, and incorporates thought-leading concepts into her coaching practice.
Caroline spent more than 20 years working for corporations such as PlayStation, Virgin and Nokia in Europe and Australia, and went on to run two PR agencies in England and Canada. She witnessed and participated in major global economic, societal and technology pivots during this time. Since 2008, Caroline has led global executive search and talent development strategies for Real Networks, Autodesk, Microsoft, Amazon, Electronic Arts and Disney, and more.
Spurred on by her international experiences, in 2014 Caroline launched FORWARD with a vision to create a constantly evolving human capital solutions company with an ethical and humanist foundation.
Caroline holds a PCC-level Executive Coach Certification from Royal Roads University, an Executive-level Business and Technology Sustainability Certificate from MIT and is a certified EQi2.0 practitioner. In 2019, she was honoured with Marshall Goldsmith’s Leading Global Coach Award, and is regularly called upon to share her expertise in publications including Harvard Business Review, Newsweek, the Globe and Mail, Fast Company and SHRM.
Caroline lives in Vancouver, Canada and is committed to working with leaders virtually to reduce her carbon footprint.
